Ian and his wife live in the Midlands with their 9 dogs ranging in ages from 8 months to 14 years. All of the dogs are fed on CSJ food. "We have had our dogs on CSJ for almost 10 years now”
"We have fed our canine family on CSJ for over 15 years now we have always found it to be good quality, our dogs have thrived both when young and competing and into old age. We would not hesitate to recommend CSJ products."
Ian got into Agility in 1993 after recovering from a leg break while playing football. As other sports were then not an option he took up Agility.
Starting with Judy in Agility
Ian was already competing with his first dog Judy in Working Trials when he started training her in Agility – she took him through the grades into grade 7 just as her retirement became imminent.
What Katy did
The pair were also picked for the Team GB European Open in 2008 in Germany and again in 2010.
Katy also qualified for Kennel Club Olympia Agility stakes 3 years running.
Katy was already competing as Judy retired. Katy went through the grades and soon become a Ch. Ticket competitor at Olympia
Bobbie continued the tradition
As Katy neared her retirement Bobbie was learning her trade and became a Ch. Ticket competitor as Katy ran her final Ch.
Ian says, “Bobbie has been an amazing competitor. Team GB member 3 years running. Olympia Agility Stakes at both Novice and Senior level. CRUFTS - singles, Bobbie has won 2 x champ tickets. She is a wonderful dog who comes alive when she gets on that start line, Bobbie loves her Agility.”
Kelly – the next generation
Kelly is the first dog with whom Ian has tried a new way of training contacts.
He feels that running contacts are the way of the future and says Kelly has responded well, having in 2015 qualified for her first finals at Malvern - Agility Secrets Jumping and Camddwr Canine Agility.
The bottom line
“Looking forward to 2016 season.”
