My Dogs
Totally we own 4 dogs now. 3 Border Collies and 1 mixed Labrador. I own the dogs together with my wife Adelaine Bastiaansen, who has her own handler profile on the CSJ site. Our mixed Labrador ‘Quinty' is already 9 years and not competing anymore.
Achievements
"Demi was going better and better end of last year, beginning this year. She is now very great in grade 3. Last year at the Border Collie Classic she took part in the county final. She was one of the best 4 dogs of Belgium.”
What has CSJ done for my dogs?
"CSJ dog food is great, all my dogs are really good on the food. They have a very high speed and never been sick. Great skin and coat!!”
Biography
Gem
Kees and his wife Adelaine compete in 30 agility competitions per season and say they ‘can't live without agility'.
How did you become involved?
"My wife started with her mixed Labrador, just for the fun. She was training in a club here in Baarle-Hertog, Belgium. After a while I also got involved and enthusiastic and took a Border Collie ‘Demi'.
Working with Demi was so great that I decided to have a puppy of Demi's and took her daughter Gem. Before we knew we were involved in the agility world and now we cannot live anymore without agility.”
Where do you train?
"We have our own agility place and we train almost every day. We are training now in the club HS Canis in Wechelderzande in Belgium.”
What dogs do you own?

Then I have ‘Maeglin Demi', a black and white Border Collie in grade 3. She is 6 years old, and her daughter ‘Maeglin Gem', also a black and white Border Collie. She is 2 years old and in grade 2.”
What do you regard as your biggest success so far?
