Achievements
Bethan and Danny race Scandinavian sled dogs (a precise combination of Norwegian Pointer, Greyhound and Alaskan Husky), an impressive athletic breed developed over many years for its speed as well as its pulling power.
They both race all size of teams from the one dog on the bike and scooter to 8 dogs on a four wheel cart.
Danny is at the top of the game in the UK reaching speeds of 31mph and averaging over an impressive 20mph!
Bethan won the 4 dog open race at the National Championships despite having been on the back burner as she had a baby daughter!
THEN….. Bethan gets Gold in the European Cani-cross Championships 2015!! (see below)
AND…… Fitzgeralds’ team effort gains Silver in World Championships!! (Bethan gets Silver and the title of ‘Second Fastest 4 Dog Team in the World’ and Danny took a fantastic 8th place on the bike.

What has CSJ done for my dogs?
"After using special prescription diets (being a vet this was my first port of call) to settle stomach upsets and not achieving a good result, we went back to CP30 and it never fails to produce normal faeces almost instantly!
We add Go On! Herbs in the race season and in the cold weather add Salmon Oil to increase the calories. For that little extra and better recuperation we have used some STORM Canis which is new to CSJ and we will definitely be using it next season! There is no need for anything else. The dogs’ coats are shining and their motions nice and solid!”

Biography
In 2015 all the hard work paid off as Bethan won the Silver medal at the dryland World Championships with her 4 dog team and the Gold medal on the scooter at the European Championships.
Daniel has amazingly held the title of 4 dog Scottish champion and British champion for many years and has come close to podium finishes at European and World Championships over the last 5 years.
This last season Bethan and Danny were forced to sit out due to an old knee injury but with the usual determination, they have not quit the sport which was what they thought was their only choice, but have just changed the discipline. Sadly racing the big dog teams (4 dog/6dog) is no more due to injury but as Danny's knee benefits from cycling he will be concentrating on the one dog bike from now on. Bethan will also continue to compete in the mono-discipline, the one dog scooter. The old dogs are retired and are enjoying their walks in the forest and on the beach and the odd Cani-cross club run.
This year we have had a litter of 10 beautiful puppies due to popular demand. Our first litter has been showing great potential so it was silly to not produce another British litter and I love to watch them all grow and
excel in what they do.
