Olaf - Collie x Whippet - dog - 8 Months old (home bred)
The biggest or most memorable success so far?
Emma says her biggest success to date in Flyball has to be breaking the British Flyball record with a time of 15.96 in August last year, with her team mates!
Other successes
Emma has competed with dogs in many disciplines over the years - Showing, Agility, Obedience and Flyball. Her main two were Showing and Flyball.
To list a few successes:
- Gold Medal Winner at Crufts 2000 for KCJO Flyball with Farley WSD
-Gold Medal Winner at Crufts 2000 for KCJO Obedience with Farley
- Top Junior handler of the year in the UK in 2006 with Snort - Papillon
- Runner up in the International Handling Finals at Crufts 2007. The UK representative with Austin - Papillon
- Crufts Flyball Winner 2013 with Mig
-Current British Record Holder with Flame
- Division 1 winner & 3rd place at the BFA (British Flyball Association) in 2014 with Flame (1st) & Mig (3rd)
- Open Flyball team of the year 2014 with Flame
How it all started...
Emma started Flyball in 2002 through the KCJO (Kennel Club Junior Organisation - now YKC - Young Kennel Club). She then had a break and joined the army where she met her husband and had their daughter.
Then she picked Flyball back up with Mig in 2012 with The Mansfield Marnicks.
