Emma currently owns 5 dogs, 3 Border Collies, a Pomeranian and a rescue Greyhound.

Achievements

Emma worked Championship class C with her first Border Collie Tyke, who won 3 Reserve CCs and had numerous places. He also won the Rebecca Memorial Trophy at Crufts 5 consecutive years, which is a record! He won numerous gold medals at Crufts in YKC Obedience competitions.

Biography

Emma has been competing with dogs since she was 7 years old. She has judged at Obedience shows since she was 14 and is now qualified to judge Championship C and award tickets to enable people to compete at Crufts.

Emma’s dogs

Emma currently owns 5 dogs, 3 Border Collies, a Pomeranian and a rescue Greyhound.

She competes in Obedience competitions with 2 of the Border Collies.

Frankee is 7 and works class B and C. He has won one B so far this year.

Scout is 2 years old and works class A and B and has won 1 A so far.

A record for Tyke!

Emma unfortunately lost Tyke last October when he was 14 years old.

Scout at work

Emma lives in Yorkshire and works in a vet practice which she says, “Is very useful for my own dogs as Scout is able to come to work with me every day which pleases him immensely.”

The dogs took over

Emma also has 2 horses, which she used to compete with in show jumping competitions, but working full time, competing in Obedience competitions all over the country, finding the time to compete with them as well proved too difficult, so, as she says, “The dogs took over.”

2012 summer results

On August 19th Emma sent a message to CSJ saying, “ Frankee won B today and Scout got 6th in A. Frankee also got 2nd in B yesterday.”
