Meg came from a litter being bred as working Welsh Collie sheep dogs. She is still the family pet but needed to do far more.
She truly loves her Search & Rescue work. She passed her level 2 route and path assessment in March '11 and is working well towards her 3 level area tests.
Roland and his dog Meg have set themselves the challenge to climb the highest points of every County in England & Wales are well on the way to completion.
"Meg was fed ordinary mass produced dry food. When we started SAR we were introduced to CSJ and initially tried Champ but have since moved to CP21 it has given a noticeable improvement in her coat. She loves her CSJ food and it gives her the energy for search and rescue."
Roland is a Digital Cinema Specialist replacing film projectors across the UK.

"Meg is a very energetic, intelligent dog and needed a focus to direct her talents. I have always wanted to do something for the community so joining Berkshire Search & Rescue Dogs was the perfect answer for us both.”
About Berkshire SAR Dogs
Berkshire SAR Dogs is a volunteer dog organisation on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to assist Search & Rescue Teams, the Police and other Emergency Services.
"Our primary role is to assist in locating lost or missing vulnerable people within Berkshire and its surrounding areas".
Berkshire SAR Dogs became a registered charity in the UK in March 2004 and is entirely reliant on sponsorship and donations to exist and carry out its work.
