Memorable successes

Mosse says his most memorable successes were when he won the Continental Championship with Fleet in Belgium 2003 and also gaining 6th place in the World Trial in Tullamore 2005

During 2008

Mosse had a brilliant year – competing in 14 opens and winning 12! In July he won the Swedish Cup for the fifth time in a row – winning with Roy, and also fourth with his young dog Jim.

Mosse Magnusson has been Swedish Champion 7 times with 5 different dogs…

How the involvement started … and literally changed his life

Mosse started out as a milk farmer and used his dogs on the cattle. He saw that a well trained dog spared him a lot of time and money and then he got more and more interested in trialling.

This led to the change from cow to sheep and Mosse now has 500 ewes on his farm.

What’s the breeding behind the kennel?

I have a lot of Jonny Wilson breeding, Fleet is a Rob son, Roy is by Jonny’s Tweed and Jill,Min goes back to Jonnys Spot, Jock is by WT Davies Sweep and Sall, Ben is by Robertsons Tam and out of McGartys If and then I have some youngsters from my own breeding and some from Bobby Hendersons Bill.

Other involvements with dogs

Mosse normally has a couple of dogs in for training every month. He also sells CSJ on a small scale – but says the most important thing is to feed his own dogs with a really good product.
