2008 Acheivements - a bulletin from Kris
Both Vinnie and Hagar have managed to get themselves invited to attend the South Western Great Dane Club - Top Twelve 'League finals' - as both are in the Top 12 Finalists (compiled independently from wins gained during the year from October 2007 to October 2008) - they have only been shown
since May as were too young before then.

"I have owned, bred and shown dogs for over 20 years, and with the colours of Danes I specialise in i.e. Blues, Blacks and Harlequins – the coat is the most obvious sign of good nutrition – as these colours look dreadful if the food doesn’t suit – and my dogs coats gleam! In addition, it is a difficult thing to rear a giant breed – they need to be grown correctly and slowly to build optimum bone density, and the CP 27 food is absolutely brilliant at bringing the growth on slowly and allowing them to have body whilst growing – certainly helps in the show ring."
Kris’s most memorable success is Davidson (Ch Dainoak Veni Vidi Vici) winning his Championship title in December of 1999 – making him the last Great Dane Champion of last century, and from the first Harlequin litter she ever bred.
Other memorable moments
How it started..
Kris has always loved dogs and Great Danes in particular since being a little girl. She bought her first Great Dane to show and hoped to breed from in 1987. Known as Altesam Rhythm N’ Blues, she was known as Trubble at home and Kris says, “She certainly lived up to it, fortunately I’ve never had another one as naughty since!”
Kris’s prefix ‘Dianoak’ is “From little acorns and all that.”
