My Dogs
The couple own five Border Collies at the moment but this varies and they also have short term "boarders” who are in training for the police or prison service.
Achievements
Winning the 2006 Kennel Club Working Trial Championship PD stake with her WT CH Bridgealpine Libra of Stardell (Libby).
Wendy's other successes along the way
"2 dogs worked Championship C in obedience.”
"In working trials Libby finished at the top winning bitch of any breed in PD with 10 PD tickets and 10 Reserves and still holds that record.”
"I have also made up another Working Trial Champion Glenalpine Phoebe of Stardell who as well as winning six PD tickets has also won a TD ticket which is a first for me.”
"I am currently working a three year old bitch Stardell Lunar who achieved her TDex at her first attempt.”

"Paul's previous dog Leo was a formidable PD dog and he and Paul's previous dogs took part and won the Canine Biathlon on several occasions.”
"Paul is working Stardell Lunar's litter brother Stardell Spica who also has his TDEX.”

"STARDELL”
As well as working Obedience and Working Trials Wendy and Paul also offer training to other dog owners and train dogs for the Services. Wendy also writes a regular column in Dog World and has written two books on working Trials and Obedience.
They supply dogs for both services after finding and training them to various levels according to requirements and are also importing a GSD bitch from Czech at the start of next year.
How it all began
Wendy says, "After 20 odd years of obedience competition we were looking for a new challenge and when we took a bitch to mate to a working trial dog we discovered this fascinating sport and were inspired.”
