Medals Haul for Agility Team GB

Agility Team GB brought home Gold, Silver and Bronze medals from the prestigious FCI World Championships held in Coque in Luxembourg on 11th to 14th September.

The world’s top dogs and handlers congregated to battle for top honours with a total of 451 competitors from 36 nations from as far afield as Russia and Brazil taking part.

GB’s Team Manager Mark Laker congratulated all the team and said it had been, “A culmination of months of training and preparations. The support team have been fantastic; in fact everyone involved in helping these top dogs and handlers get to the line, as best prepared as possible, has worked tirelessly over the last nine months.”

As long-time supporters of the agility sport and an official supporter of the GB team CSJ Specialist Feeds were delighted to hear the results……………

With a time of 30.38 seconds taking first place and gold medal in the Individual Jumping Round was GB’s Natasha Wise with Dizzy……incredibly the fifth time they have done so!

The large dogs team also pulled out all the stops, winning silver in the Large Team Final, having earlier won bronze in the Agility Round and Greg Derrett, Natasha Wise and Bernadette Bay also achieved excellent placings in the Large, Medium and Small Individual Finals respectively.

Ceri Rundle, CSJ’s owner said, “We were delighted that everyone did so well, our roots are in canine sports and working dogs (owning working Border Collies ourselves) and we know just how much effort, skill and time goes into achieving such remarkable results – well done!”
