"Hi, I'm Ceri Rundle, international level sheepdog triallist and I decided to produce my own brand of working dog feed, when my father and I couldn’t find an affordable, quality dog food for our world-famous kennel of working and winning Moel and Bwlch border collies."

First woman to compete on BBC TV’s ‘One Man & His Dog’

Ceri Rundle is an outstanding success story in the dog world. The first woman to get into the Wales National Team, Ceri later went on to repeat the success twice more, then went on to compete for Wales at the World Trials.

Ceri is on the panel of national judges and has judged and run dog training clinics in the UK and overseas.  Her late father, H. Glyn Jones was also former International Supreme Champion and famously won the Brace competition three times on the popular TV series ‘One Man & His Dog’.

The first woman to appear on the BBC2 TV series 'One Man & His Dog'. Ceri went on to appear in the first Young Handlers competition held at the Supreme International Championships at Armathwaite in 1980.

Later in 1980, Ceri was honoured to be invited to the ‘Women of the Year’ Luncheon. She was delighted to attend the event, which was held at the Savoy Hotel in London.

Ceri became the first woman to qualify for the Welsh National Team with her home-bred dog, Bwlch Hemp in 1996. They won Reserve in 1997 and later earned 2 further national ‘caps’ with two Hemp sons, Moel Cap and Moel Nip. Cap also partnered Ceri at the World Trials in Ireland in 2005.

Again making history, Ceri was the first woman to be elected onto the Panel of National Judges for Wales, which has allowed her to judge in USA, Europe and Scandinavia. She was also honoured to become Chair of the North Wales Sheepdog Society in the early '90s.

Today, Ceri spends most of her time promoting CSJ but tries to find time to train and trial her young dogs. She continues to develop her famous Moel line of Border Collies (a continuation of her parents famous 'Bwlch' line), which are exported all over the world.

Champion Sheepdog Triallist and Ceri's father

Ceri's father (H.Glyn Jones) was a former International Supreme and Reserve Supreme Champion with his dog Gel and Reserve Supreme Champion with the famous homebred Bwlch Taff, as well as three times winner of the Brace Competition on the BBC2 TV series, 'One Man & His Dog' which featured his dogs Gel and Bwlch Bracken.

An inspiration to handlers worldwide, as well as Ceri, Glyn produced three training dvds 'Come Bye and Away', 'That'll Do' and 'Take Time'. He also co-wrote the training book that many regard as the 'Bible' of the dog world 'A Way of Life' which up to now has been translated into 5 languages.

Glyn travelled extensively all over the world to judge and hold training clinics. In 2008, he was awarded the ‘Wilkinson Sword’ trophy by the International Sheep Dog Society (ISDS) in recognition of his outstanding contribution and services to sheepdogs, sheepdog trialling and to the ISDS Society.  Fittingly, this ceremony was awarded at the World Trials held in Llandeilo - View the Wilkinsson Sword press release for the award.

Glyn started the ‘Bwlch’ line of breeding with his wife Beryl, in the early 1960's. Many of the 'Bwlch' breed still regularly appear in the pedigrees of present day champions.
